Movement Airfield Guidance Signs

All our Mag signs comply with the requirements of ICAO Annex 14, particularly for luminance, chromaticity and frangibility. The Runway Distance Marker Signs comply with size requirements of STANAG 3316.

Mag signs are equipped (depending of their size) with one, two or four Fluorescent Tubes (18, 30, 32 or 58 Watts) with a life duration greater than 10,000hours. The tubes electrical supply is taken from the airfield lighting series circuit.

The illuminated Front Panel is made of long life glare-free polycarbonate. The symbols of the sign are screen painted on the internal face of the Front Panel.

The signs have a minimum IP66 protection.

The sign structure is of low weight and strong due to the use of Aluminium components.

The fixing accessories (screws, nuts, washers, etc..) are made of stainless steel.

The recommended installation should be made on a concrete block using aluminium frangible legs each mounted on a fixing plate in galvanised steel.

 The Mag sign design allows ease of maintenance.

- The use of long life fluorescent tubes and the long life front panel shall limit the number of maintenance operations.

- The removable tubes support shall simplify work replacing the tubes.
