Hong Kong, 6th September 2005 - Sky Dragon Asia Pacific Limited, a leading consultancy, equipment provider and supplies contractor for Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) projects, today announced they have been appointed as a sub-contractor to provide logistics control and supply of a large part of the AGL materials required for an extensive stop bar relocation project at Hong Kong International Airport through Giffels International.
The contract includes providing high quality FAA approved AGL cable (30,000 meters), FAA approved taxiway light fitting cans (Three and single piece Cans) and high grade epoxy. The 7 month contract will continue through to March 2006 and will involve meeting very tight deadlines and logistics control of the supply chain from Europe, USA and Australia. Many of the works will be done during night time pre-planned runway shutdowns so it is imperative we meet the very strict delivery deadlines.
The reason for the stop bars relocation is due to the length of the Airbus A380 wing span which cannot accommodate current standards of stop bar positioning.

May there be many more!
